The Stagg [XF] Dripper operates like other pour-over drippers but with enhanced heat retention due to its double-wall column design. Inside, you’ll see ratio aids (one and two-dot markers) that guide you in measuring coffee grounds.
Here’s a quick brewing guide:

For a Single (10 oz):
- Heat 10 oz of water to 200-205°F and grind 20g of coffee to a medium/fine consistency.
- Place a filter in the dripper, wet it, and discard the rinse water.
- Add coffee to the filter, shake to settle, and pour 40g of water for the bloom. Wait 30 seconds, then pour in 40-60g increments until you reach 10 oz.

For a Double (20 oz):
- Heat 20 oz of water to 200-205°F and grind 40g of coffee.
- Follow the same steps as above, using the double dot marker for measurement and pouring in increments until you reach 20 oz.
- Is the Stagg Double Wall Carafe dishwasher safe?
We recommend hand-washing the Stagg Tasting Glasses and Carafe to prevent moisture from becoming trapped between the double walls, which can happen in the dishwasher. Hand-washing also helps extend the life of your glassware by reducing the risk of chipping.
