Charging: The Tally™ rechargeable battery offers up to 13 hours of continuous use, meaning you’ll only need to charge it once every 1-2 months for the average user. When the battery is low, Tally flashes the remaining battery level on power-up or shutdown. It comes with a USB-C to USB-A charging cable compatible with standard USB-A charging blocks and takes just 1-2 hours to fully charge.
Cleaning: Maintain your Tally™ by using a damp, non-abrasive cloth or sponge with mild detergent or warm water. For a thorough clean, simply remove the weigh pan and wipe underneath. Please avoid placing any part of your scale in the dishwasher or immersing it in water; while Tally™ is water-resistant, it is not waterproof.
Transit: For on-the-go brewing, twist off your weigh pan, replace the shims included in your original packaging, and reattach the weigh pan. Carefully place it back into the box for safe travel. Remember, the shims are essential for transport, so don’t dispose of them!
Use: The maximum load capacity of Tally™ is 2,500 g (5.5 lbs). Exceeding this limit may damage the device, so be sure to weigh within this range for optimal performance.

How do I clean and maintain Tally Pro?
Cleaning and maintaining your Tally Pro is quick and straightforward, thanks to the removable weigh pan and easy-to-wipe OLED display. For best results, we recommend cleaning your scale at least once a month. Here’s how to keep it in peak condition:
- Before Cleaning: Ensure Tally Pro is turned off and unplugged.
- Basic Cleaning: Use a damp, non-abrasive cloth or sponge with mild detergent or warm water to wipe down the scale and screen.
- Deep Cleaning: For a thorough clean, remove the weigh pan by following the steps below, then wipe underneath with the cloth.
Removing and Reinstalling the Weigh Pan:
- To unlock, turn the weigh pan counterclockwise until you feel a click, then continue turning about 30 degrees until the pan disengages.
- To reinstall, align the four engagement notches on the pan with the base, turn clockwise about 30 degrees until you feel a click.
Important Tips:
- Do not place any part of Tally Pro in the dishwasher or immerse it in water or other liquids, as it is water-resistant but not waterproof.
